Tolerances

Automatically apply tolerances from tables

Improve the quality of your assemblies and save time during production

Tolerances allows you to apply tolerances on groups of dimensions, either manually or from a tolerance tables.

This utility also allows you to switch dimensions to max, min or mean values and to rebuild the model.
The user always has the option to return to the initial values.

Option to automatically apply the tolerances on the 3D model using Excel tables

Automatically create the model based on mean dimensions

Create the min or max geometry by selecting the relevant dimensions

Create derived configurations

Save the different studies within the document

With SOLIDWORKS alone

no  Automatically apply tolerances from an Excel table

no  Automatically generate the part based on mean dimensions

no  Create the min or max part from toleranced dimensions

no  Store different studies within the document

yes Apply a tolerance to a group of dimensions

With SOLIDWORKS + myCADtools, including Tolerances

By creating minimum or maximum material configurations of your parts, you can directly simulate in 3D the impact of your tolerancing choices on the assembly and therefore simulate the assembly and operation of your designs.

In addition, the part with mean dimensions can be used directly by production to program the toolpaths with your CAM software.
